Tarun Ramadorai

Tarun Ramadorai is Professor of Financial Economics at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. His main areas of research interest are asset pricing, international finance, hedge funds, and household finance, and he has published papers on these topics in leading international journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Review of Financial Studies.

Tarun is an Executive Committee member of the Oxford-Man Institute of Quantitative Finance, a Senior Academic Fellow of the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economics Research (ABFER), and a research affiliate of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He is an Economic Advisor to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), and Honorary Advisor to the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy in New Delhi. During 2011 and 2012, he was Visiting Scholar at the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India.  He has a BA in Mathematics and Economics from Williams College, an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University.
